Donors conference for Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina: “Rebuilding Together”
Brussels, 16 July 2014. An international donors conference raised millions in support of flood victims in Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina. High-level speakers including French minister of foreign affairs Laurent Fabius also underlined the importance of river basin management and the role of ICPDR and ISRBC.
Sava Day 2013
Sava Basin, 1 June 2013. The International Sava Day is celebrated today in the Sava sub-basin, opening June as the "month of rivers". Events will be organised in all countries of the Sava Basin and will range from cycling tours to the Sava Youth Parliament and other educational events.
Sava River Basin Management Plan - Public Consultation
Zagreb, 9 January 2012. The draft Sava River Basin Management Plan (Sava RBMP) is available for public consultation until 21 April 2012. The Sava Commission has set up a website that offers a possibility to the public to respond to the consultation online, by submitting comments or suggestions in a form provided online.

AEWS - Accident Emergency Warning System
The Accident Emergency Warning System (AEWS) of the Danube River Basin is activated whenever there is a risk of transboundary water pollution, or threshold danger levels of certain hazardous substances are exceeded.
Sava Basin
The Sava is the Danube's largest tributary of the Danube in terms of discharge and the second largest in terms of catchment area. The Sava is shared by Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia and Montenegro. The joint management arrangements acted as a pilot for the implementation of the European Union's Water Framework Directive for the Danube and Europe.
