The aim of the conference is to encourage and facilitate the interdisciplinary communication among scientists, engineers, economists, teachers and professionals working on environmental issues and sustainable development.

Ecological Chemistry started to develop in Moldova in 1985 when the First International Ecological Chemistry School was conducted. For almost 25 years this field is intensively expanding, being one among several priorities for sustainable development of the National Economy.
