Vienna, 9 February 2016. Cleaner, healthier and safer waters for everyone to enjoy - this is the objective of two management plans for the Danube River Basin that were endorsed in Vienna today. The management plans foresee measures that will be implemented over a six-year period until 2021.

Since the publication of the first Danube River Basin Management Plan (DRBMP) in 2009, the ICPDR updates the DRBMP every six years as requested by the EU Water Framework Directive. Vienna, 10 Jan 2013. The 2012 "Interim Report on the Implementation of the Joint Program of Measures in the Danube River Basin District" was published by the ICPDR. Here you can download the document.
