VIENNA, 29 June – Eighty-one million people in all 14 Danube countries are invited to ‘Get Active for a cleaner Danube’ on 29 June as part of the celebrations for the 14th annual Danube Day.

Budapest, 9 October 2013. Croatian children have won the “International Danube Art Master 2013” competition, as the International Commission for the Protection of the Danube River (ICPDR) and Global Water Partnership Central and Eastern Europe announced today at the Budapest Water Summit.

The Danube River has many faces. In this photo gallery, some impressions are presented that show the diversity of this river. The pictures were taken by Victor Mello.
