    Serbia takes over ICPDR Presidency from Romania for 2023

    (Press Release) VIENNA, 28 February (International Commission for the Protection of the Danube River) – Serbia has now taken over the Presidency of the International Commission for the Protection of the Danube River (ICPDR) and has announced its priorities for the upcoming term. Incoming President Vedrana Ilić who is Serbia’s Assistant Minister responsible for international relations at the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management, presented Serbia’s goals hopes for its tenure, during an online ceremony.

    Danube Art Master Competition 2022: International Winners announced

    VIENNA, 14th December 2022 – After almost 3 years of online activities due to the COVID-19 pandemic, 2022 saw the return of many in person outreach activities including the Danube Art Master competition. The announcement of this year's international winners took place during the ICPDR’s 25th Ordinary Meeting in Vienna, where an award ceremony was held to crown the international Danube Art Master in each of the competing categories.

    Moldova takes over ICPDR Presidency for 2020 from Hungary

    As Moldova takes over the annual Presidency of the International Commission for the Protection of the Danube River (ICPDR) today, incoming President Dorin Andros is setting the chief goals and highest priorities for his term: improving cooperation and collaboration between ICPDR members, putting focus on non-EU members, reducing water pollution in the Danube River Basin, crossing sectorial divides, and strengthening resilience to the effects of climate change are at the top of President Andros’ to-do list.
