VIENNA, 15 March 2021 – The environmental art competition, “Danube Art Master” is delighted to have received a surprisingly large number of artworks submitted in 2021, despite taking place under truly exceptional circumstances. This year's international winners were announced at an online ceremony last week.
Birgit Vogel Announced As New ICPDR Executive Secretary
8th March 2022, VIENNA – The ICPDR has announced Birgit Vogel as its new Executive Secretary. Ms. Vogel will be taking on the role later this year following the retirement of Ivan Zavadsky after nearly a decade in the role.

Following the publication of the ICPDR's Danube River Basin Management Plan (DRBMP) & Danube Flood Risk Management Plan (DFRMP) Update 2021, and their endorsement at the 4th Danube Ministerial Meeting, these important publications have been given a new and fresh look and summarised into two brochures.
Management Plans for the Danube River Basin published
Vienna, 16 December 2015. Defining the water management priorities for the Danube Basin until 2021, the ICPDR has published the Danube River Basin Management Plan Update 2015 and the Flood Risk Management Plan for the Danube River Basin today.
ICPDR at 4th Annual Forum of EUSDR
Ulm, 2 November 2015. More than 1200 participants representing civil society, international institutions, corporate actors, national and local administrations made the 4th Annual Forum of the EUSDR a success. Here, we give a short review of the ICPDR contributions to the forum and show some pictures.
ICPDR at 4th EUSDR Annual Forum
Ulm, 29/30 October 2015. The ICPDR will contribute to the 4th Annual Forum of the EU Strategy for the Danube Region through a number of activities. These include a workshop on the River Basin Management Plan, an exhibition stand and contributions to different workshops hosted by other organisations.
Bosnia and Herzegovina is international “Danube Art Master 2015”
Bratislava/Sarajevo, 21 September 2015. Iman Maljić from Bosnia and Herzegovina has won the “International Danube Art Master 2015” competition. The winning art work “Black Swan” was chosen from over 600 submissions.
4th EUSDR Annual Forum open for registrations
Ulm, 21 September 2015. Registration for the 4th Annual Forum of the EU Strategy for the Danube Region has opened at www.danube-forum-ulm.eu. The website also provides a draft agenda and practical information for forum participants.
